ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A FREE WEDDING!

The free wedding giveaway of the year is back!  Four lucky couples will get married in front of family, friends and the community in Downtown Greensboro on July 4, 2024! These deserving couples received an all expense paid wedding during the festival.

 

Last day to apply is May 31, 2024.
Winners will be announced via email on June 4, 2024.

A meeting with all selected will be held on June 11, 2024, and all custom selections for the wedding will be due by June 14th.

 

The Fun Fourth Festival and the associated sponsors will only provide:

- Wedding Coordination
- Digital Wedding Invitation
- Getting Ready, Ceremony and Reception Location
- Hair and Make-up Services for 1 person
- Up to 1 Bridal Bouquet and 2 Boutonnieres
- Transportation for couple between venues
- Day-of Photographer
- Wedding vendors - officiant, live ceremony music, day-of coordinator
- Mini Reception vendors - details To Be Announced
- 15 access passes for guests at the Mini Reception

Please note: This is an application.  Final selection of the winning couples will be determined by the Fun Fourth Planning Committee.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Applicants must be unmarried at the time of application and selection.

Applicants must be legal residents of one of the following counties:

  • Guilford

  • Chatham

  • Randolph

  • Davidson

  • Forsyth

  • Stokes

  • Rockingham

  • Caswell

  • Alamance

  • Chatham

  • Minimum Age Requirement - Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Marriage License Requirement - All contests must secure a legal marriage license from the Guilford County Register of Deeds prior to July 4, 2024.
  • Wedding Party - Participants may have up to 2 witnesses, 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer during the ceremony.
  • Contestant Responsibility - Contestants must provide their own attire and wedding rings.
  • Safety - For safety reasons, no animals are permitted in the ceremony, unless required for health and safety purposes.
  • Behavior - All contestants must maintain proper and polite behavior throughout the contest, including positive attitude, no foul language or lewd acts/attire.
